Hybrid Teams Rarely Talk About Improving Hybrid Work

Chart: More Teams Need to Talk About How to Improve Hybrid Work

The Finding

On teams that have made a hybrid plan together, two in five workers discuss how hybrid work is going once a year or less.

Why It Matters

Effective hybrid work requires intentionality. Yet almost half (48%) of hybrid workers are on a team that has not discussed a plan for how to collaborate together in a hybrid environment.

Even for those workers who are on a team with some kind of explicit hybrid plan, many do not have follow-up conversations for continual improvement.

The best hybrid teams, as measured by engagement and effective collaboration, have a team-level hybrid charter and regular check-ins for continually improving hybrid work.
